The daughter of deceased music icon James Brown was recently arrested for stealing a car and first-degree assault. Deets inside… Venisha Brown , the daughter of music icon James Brown, was arrested Tuesday in South Carolina after she allegedly stole an SUV from St. Stephen Ministries…and injured her boss along the way. Authorities say, according tot he Augusta Chronicle, Hope Ellis Campbell (Venisha’s boss) spotted her in the stolen SUV and stuck her hands in the car to try to retrieve the keys. At that point, Venisha accelerated the vehicle, which caused Hope to get tossed over the hood of a nearby car. Venisha was later arrested a few blocks away from where the injury happened and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and first-degree assault and battery. She remains in custody at the Richmond County jail. SMDH.
